The thimble is purpose-built for the arborist industry, providing a large, rope-friendly surface that protects the running line and reduces friction at the redirect point compared to a standard carabiner or hardware connection.

The 1/2" Tenex-Tec sling body features 10 hand-spliced pockets — one large pocket at the terminal end followed by nine smaller pockets spaced approximately 4 inches apart — allowing the climbing rigger to quickly wrap the sling around a limb or trunk and choose the right pocket for the stem diameter without tying a single knot. Adjust length on the fly as needed, removing the sling is equally fast. The 6-foot usable length (7 feet overall) handles a wide variety of canopy redirect scenarios.

The 1/2" diameter keeps weight minimal, making this an ideal choice for redirects into a GRCS or other lowering system, in-tree friction control, and any scenario where a lighter sling with a dedicated ring connection serves better than a block-style setup. Hand-made and 3-Sigma tested by Rope Logic. Scannable for track-and-trace capability.

Specs:

Rope: Samson Tenex-Tec 12-strand hollow braid

Diameter: 1/2"

Usable Length: 6 feet

Total Length: 7 feet

Number of Pockets: 10 (1 large + 9 small, spaced approx. 4" apart)

Terminal Hardware: #1 Notch Rigging Thimble — non-anodized aluminum, ultra-wide bend radius

MBS (Choked Configuration): 10,000 lbs

Use: Choked configuration only — redirect and friction management sling

Common Applications: Redirect into GRCS or lowering device, in-tree friction management

Scannable: Yes — track-and-trace compatible

Testing: 3-Sigma Process by Rope Logic

Made in USA by Rope Logic

Distributed by WCS Distributing

Sold individually (each)

SKU: 40201 | Product Code: 1367

Available at Bee Green Recycling & Supply in Oakland, CA.
