Hello nature and adventure lovers! 🌲⛰️

Winter has arrived, bringing with it the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in the peaceful beauty of Oregon’s snow-covered wilderness. ❄️ We are thrilled to invite you to our Snowshoeing Tour to Tamanawas Falls on Saturday, February 7 at 9:00 a.m. ❄️🎿

This winter adventure takes place in the Mt. Hood National Forest, where forest trails, frozen creeks, and one of Oregon’s most iconic waterfalls come together for an unforgettable snowshoeing experience.

❄️ What is Snowshoeing?

For those who haven’t experienced it yet, snowshoeing is a magical way to explore winter landscapes. Imagine walking on top of the snow, gently floating on its surface thanks to snowshoes that distribute your weight. 🥾❄️

It’s a unique experience that allows you to access winter scenery safely while enjoying the calm, beauty, and majesty of the season. ✨

🌲 About Tamanawas Falls

Tamanawas Falls is one of the most popular and scenic waterfall hikes in the Mt. Hood National Forest. The trail follows the East Fork Trail, offering a moderate 3–4 mile round-trip route that winds through a serene forest alongside a flowing creek.

Along the way, participants will enjoy beautiful creek-side paths, cross a log bridge, and pass a rock slide area, making the journey just as memorable as the destination. The highlight of the hike is the breathtaking 110-foot waterfall, formed by ancient volcanic rock.

During winter, the waterfall often freezes or partially ices over, creating dramatic ice formations and misty views that feel truly magical. ❄️💧 While Tamanawas Falls is popular in summer for its strong water flow, winter offers a quieter, more intimate experience—perfect for snowshoeing.
