Los cinco mejores destinos para esquiar en Estados Unidos

The U.S. is undoubtedly the first place that comes to mind when it comes to skiing, offering endless miles of slopes with breathtaking views. Here are 5 of the best ski destinations in this wonderful country:

Telluride, Colorado

With over 800 hectares and around 150 incredible trails to choose from, Telluride offers thrilling slopes and a variety of activities ranging from skiing and hiking to cycling and guided tours—perfect for the whole family.

Mount Hood, Oregon

Just 45 minutes from where I live, Mount Hood is Portland’s favorite skiing spot. This incredible place is surrounded by heavenly landscapes and offers a wide range of ice activities, making it ideal for snow and nature lovers.

Fun Fact: On the southern slope of Mount Hood lies the Timberline Lodge, which was used as a filming location for the iconic movie The Shining in the 1980s.

Salt Lake City, Utah

Also known as Ski City, Salt Lake City boasts 4 fantastic ski resorts: Snowbird, Alta, Solitude, and Brighton. Whether you want to slide down peaks over 3,500 meters high at Snowbird or ski on terrain suitable for all levels at Solitude, there’s something here for everyone.

Big Sky, Montana

One of Montana’s most popular destinations, Big Sky receives an average of 914 centimeters of snow per year and offers over 2,400 hectares of skiable terrain for visitors to enjoy.

Wildcat Mountain, New Hampshire

With a summit of 4,062 feet, this stunning mountain is surrounded by dazzling landscapes and offers excellent skiing conditions. It features challenging trails for thrill-seekers, scenic routes for intermediate skiers with a 2,100-foot descent, and a specially designed beginner area called Snowcat.
