This past Thursday, March 14, the launch tour of the book “No One Achieves What They Don’t Dare” had its third stop in Katy, Texas, and it was truly an experience that will remain in our memory forever. We want to express our deepest gratitude to all the attendees for supporting the Loco por la Aventura project and, especially, for their enthusiasm in learning through this first book.
In this work, I not only explain the basic techniques to get started in climbing and mountaineering in Spanish, but I also intimately share my personal experiences—both successes and failures—on the mountain and in life itself. These moments have helped me grow as an athlete and as a human being, and I hope that these stories can also serve as inspiration for you.
We want to thank the more than 85 attendees of all ages who joined this launch and book signing. We also take this opportunity to thank our allies at this event: Momentum Katy, for offering us the perfect space for this launch; Ron Santa Teresa and Guayaki, for taking care of refreshments; and Rhino Skin Solutions, for their products for the raffles.
The event, which lasted almost 3 hours, included a special toast, appetizers, a short talk from me to share the origins of this book, book signings, music, raffles, and plenty of excitement to learn about the project.
