On December 11, Loco por la Aventura joyfully celebrated its annual Appreciation Night—a very special evening dedicated to honoring the people who make our mission possible: our volunteers.
Throughout 2024, our outdoor activities, workshops, courses, hikes, and adventures would not have been possible without the commitment, dedication, and heart of every volunteer who has joined us. That’s why we chose to close the year with an unforgettable night full of gratitude, community, and celebration.
A Multicultural Feast for the Soul
The evening featured an exquisite selection of food thanks to the generous support of local businesses that believe in our mission:

El Salto PDX, delighting us with authentic vegan Venezuelan cuisine.

Tierra del Sol, bringing the vibrant flavors of Mexican cooking.

Sayos Bakery, with an incredible variety of fresh breads that everyone loved.

Ron Santa Teresa, always present at our celebrations.
There were also plenty of snacks, sweets, drinks from Athletic Brewing and Portland Water, and of course, a toast with Ron Santa Teresa to celebrate our shared achievements and dream together about what’s ahead.
A Space to Share, Laugh, and Remember
The night was filled with magical moments—from spontaneous conversations to special photo sessions for our volunteers, where every smile captured the true essence of our community.
Thanks to Bipa Studio, we had professional 360° video coverage, giving us the chance to relive this night again and again. We’re excited to share a gallery so everyone can see how much fun we had!
Gifts, Recognition, and Plenty of Surprises
Each volunteer received a special gift as a symbolic token of our gratitude. We also celebrated with raffles and unique recognitions. We know volunteer work comes from the heart, and we wanted each person to feel just how valuable their contribution is to our mission.
