We are thrilled to share extraordinary news: Loco por la Aventura has been selected as one of the members of the 2023-2024 Adidas Community Lab group. This program, created by Adidas in collaboration with the Impact Hub Network organization, aims to co-create programming designed to elevate the next generation of Black and Latino visionaries in 2023/24, supporting heroic journeys to generate meaningful change in their communities.
During this special six-month program, we will have the invaluable opportunity to receive mentorship, participate in weekly workshops, attend special meetings, practice presentations, and network—all of which will help us grow as an organization.
The primary goal of our project in the Adidas Community Lab 2023 is to support a global movement seeking meaningful change. We are filled with excitement to have been selected as one of the great finalists of this cohort, considering the number of organizations that applied.
Loco por la Aventura was born with the mission to educate and inspire the community to participate in outdoor activities in the United States, showcasing their benefits for physical and mental health. We aspire to be a bridge, breaking down language barriers, educational limitations, and economic restrictions within our community.
