Last October 24 marked a significant milestone in the journey of Loco por la Aventura, as we had the privilege of presenting our exciting project at the Pitch Latino 2023 edition.
This event, led by Latino Founder Accelerator, has become a beacon of empowerment for Latino entrepreneurs seeking to take their products, technologies, and services to new heights, following the inspiring footsteps of PitchBlack.
Before an audience of over 200 people, Loco por la Aventura and eight other entrepreneurs had the unique opportunity to convey the essence of their projects within a five-minute timeframe. This challenge, which represented our first foray into a pitch entirely in English before a demanding audience, will be remembered as a milestone in our history.
The event not only provided us with a platform to share the vision of Loco por la Aventura but also allowed us to immerse ourselves in the experience of having an exclusive booth. There, we had the honor of answering questions from the audience, sharing our passion for outdoor activities, and giving away stickers that symbolize our commitment to the Latino community.
Although the night did not award us the main prize, we gained something even more valuable: the experience of facing the challenge of presenting ourselves to the public, allowing more people to learn about and engage with our project. This opportunity not only drives us to continue improving and growing but also motivates us to inspire others to explore the world through outdoor activities.
Additionally, we took the opportunity to offer our merchandise, which plays a crucial role in funding the free trips and experiences we provide to the Latino community. Although this was our first encounter with a pitch in English, we are excited for what the future holds and trust that this is just the beginning of a series of participations in similar events.
