7.7 mm diameter half rope with UIAA Guide Dry treatment for technical mountaineering and ice climbing

Thin and lightweight, the PASO GUIDE 7.7 mm half rope is designed for intensive use in technical mountaineering and ice climbing. The UIAA Guide Dry water repellent treatment gives it excellent water resistance and makes it well-suited to everyday use in extreme conditions. Excellent grip and great handling make for easier manipulation.

Thin and lightweight rope for technical mountaineering and ice climbing:
- Compact, with a thin 7.7 mm diameter
- Lightweight; only 40 g/m
- 48-carrier construction makes the rope smooth, limiting rope drag and improving the rope’s water repellent quality
- Two ropes can be clipped individually or together, depending on terrain or rope drag management
Excellent water resistance makes it perfect for technical mountaineering and ice climbing:
- UIAA Guide Dry treatment: water repellent treatment allows users to keep their rope dry, day after day, in a variety of conditions; it meets the requirements of the UIAA standard water repellent test: water absorption of less than 2 %
- UIAA Guide Dry treatment extends the life of the rope
- UltraSonic Finish: the core and sheath are bonded together at the rope ends by an UltraSonic process, which provides greater durability and helps avoid frayed ends

- Middle Mark: indicates the middle of the rope to facilitate maneuvers
- EverFlex treatment: specific thermal treatment stabilizes core strands and improves consistency, providing excellent grip and consistent handling over time
